Ceiling Fan Specs is an independent reference on certified ceiling fans, run by Oliver Harris.

The site takes the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR list of certified ceiling fans and puts each fan next to the fans it should be compared with: same blade span, same mount type. It is not a shop, does not show prices and has no links to sellers. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by EPA, ENERGY STAR or any fan maker.

What is here

The fan table ranks every certified fan in its group. Blade-span pages, brand pages and feature pages set out what makes each group different, and the articles answer common questions from the same data.
