Ceiling fans by blade span
The certified list groups into ten spans, from fans under 42 inches to 84-inch models. Larger standard fans post a higher median CFM/W and draw more watts on high; 52 inches is the exception that pulls the CFM/W line down.
Median watts on high speed, standard fans
Half of the standard fans in each span draw less than this on high.

CFM/W figures for standard fans; huggers shown where a span has five or more.
