What the site is
Ceiling Fan Specs republishes and ranks figures from the EPA ENERGY STAR list of certified ceiling fans. It is a reference, not advice: it does not recommend a fan, a size or an installation, and it shows no prices.
Accuracy
Figures are taken from the list as of the date shown on each page and computed as set out on How we rank. EPA itself gives no warranty on the list, and neither does this site. Check a maker's own documents before relying on a figure.
Use of the content
The underlying EPA data is in the public domain. The site's own text, charts and computed figures may be quoted with a link to the page. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the fans.
Links
The site links to the EPA source; it does not link to shops.
